If people no longer expect objectivity from their political and legal systems, then all justice will be reduced to a power struggle between conflicting and irreconcilable perspectives, a struggle in which the most dominant and pervasive bias will replace fair and impartial process as the character of justice. But if objectivity in law and politics is everywhere supplanted by conflict between subjective interests, then the side of economic privilege and established authority will always retain dominance. A society in which people no longer expect representatives of its major institutions even to attempt to render objectivity in their professional demeanours is a society whose major institutions are in a crisis of ethical legitimacy. In such a society, there is wide spread cynicism regarding the possibility of fair political process because it seems impossible that impartial, unbiased dispositions could exist to enact such processes.

China threatened to kill B.C. reporter on Canadian soil

China has an extensive espionage network in and around Vancouver that hides among the large ethnic Chinese community. Agents set up front companies as cover for their operations of influence and intimidation among the local populace. They maintain mutually beneficial connections with organized crime crime groups, mostly of Chinese origin, in exchange for protection back in the motherland. Decisions made by the Communist party in Beijing can be enforced on Canadian soil by a network of highly trained and dangerous foot soldiers. The primary objectives are to steal secrets, influence politicians and the media, and to silence dissent. Recently a Surrey reporter came forward with details on threats made against his life for reporting negatively about the Chinese government.
"You actually think there is nothing we can do to you because you are in Canada."
Agent of China's Ministry of State Security.

China threatened to kill B.C. reporter on Canadian soil
The RCMP has reportedly taken the issue very "seriously". That is not very reassuring based on the fact that the RCMP is extremely incompetent when it comes to intelligence gathering. Its not the kind of organization that hires the brightest minds this nation has to offer. Their greatest source of intelligence is through the programs designed to monitor everyone's facebook. China's Ministry of State Security Agents only use facebook to track targets and are specifically instructed not to use it for any other traceable personal purpose. I should hope that CSIS will have their hands in the investigation although the fact that it has come to this is troubling. Ultimately the corrupt incompetent political class bears responsibility for this massive violation of Canadian sovereignty. There exists no longer leadership in the West that represents the interests of the people until once again the Sons of Liberty rise.
