"Victory will never be found by taking the line of least resistance." Winston Churchill

If people no longer expect objectivity from their political and legal systems, then all justice will be reduced to a power struggle between conflicting and irreconcilable perspectives, a struggle in which the most dominant and pervasive bias will replace fair and impartial process as the character of justice. But if objectivity in law and politics is everywhere supplanted by conflict between subjective interests, then the side of economic privilege and established authority will always retain dominance. A society in which people no longer expect representatives of its major institutions even to attempt to render objectivity in their professional demeanours is a society whose major institutions are in a crisis of ethical legitimacy. In such a society, there is wide spread cynicism regarding the possibility of fair political process because it seems impossible that impartial, unbiased dispositions could exist to enact such processes.

World War Z, Hollywood Latest Sell Out to China

Taiwan Rehearses for Communist Chinese Invasion

Hong Kong Residents Defend Falun Gong From Harassment

People think this through,
What if a member of your family or someone you knew was a falun gong practitioner?
What if a member of your family or someone you knew was an anti-corruption activist?
Making it your policy to arrest members of the community for their beliefs is an unacceptable policy for any party wishing to present themselves as a legitimate ruling party. The persecution of peaceful members of the community who are simply trying to contribute to a better world is unacceptable.
When a political culture becomes so partisan to the point where pragmatic relaxed good governance turns to a wasteful struggle over "power", then the community should expect undesirable results.
Obviously, no one in their right mind would want the communist party to rule their community because no one in their right mind would want to be abused by a totalitarian regime.
Even if you don't care about politics, you probably would care if a regime came after members of the community. What the world needs is virtue, people virtuous enough not to abuse power, to only use it to inspire people to achieve good things. People must abandon partisanship if we are to confront the monumental challenges of our time, the situation demands it. Extremism is a mental illness.
I'm asking you, all of you, to put aside the selfish quest for power and focus on accomplishing what needs to be done. This is not about any one of us, this is not even about our era and how it unfolds. This is about a long term change in consciousness achieved through deep thought and meditation that will bring an end to political violence.

The struggle for the human soul is greater than any of us.

Elizabeth May Speaking at Falun Dafa Month Rally on Parliament Hill

Elizabeth May Speaking at Falun Dafa Month Rally on Parliament Hill

" The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) banned the practice of Falun Gong in 1999, using tactics employed against peaceful Falun practitioners including imprisonment, forced labour, torture, murder, Orwellian indoctrination and even allegations of live organ extraction.

Help Elizabeth push the Canadian government to tell the Chinese government to stop their persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Sign or download her petition, get as many people as possible to sign it, and mail it – postage free – to either her Ottawa or Sidney offices. With as few as 25 signatures, Elizabeth can present your petition to the government in the House of Commons. "

Elizabeth May is one in a million. A politician that stands for ideals that you can trust. As you all know politicians are usually the worst kind of people on the planet. The vast majority of politicians have no bravery, they go along with the crowd and never stand for anything. Politicians are usually the opposite of leaders. Politicians go along with our flawed and corrupt systems without ever taking the risk of standing for real change. We are all human, we want to love one another, but the world that we want is not the world that we have. Nothing will change if we do not act to change it, and that requires bravery. The calculation of a better world is not a cold equation of personal gain and power, a better world is build by devotion to sacrifice.

We like to pretend that we are ok as a society, but we are not. Money and violence rules humanity as it always has, and through the process of globalization our responsibility for the ongoing atrocity has been collectivized. Our political processes are games between organized gangs of thugs, just as they always have been. The objective is and always has been to keep you addicted to the things that don't matter and ignorant of the things that do.

I don't want this. I don't want to feed this beast. It will only get bigger. I don't want a world where our money, our labour, our tears and the blood of our sons are spent to enrich foreign dictators. I don't want the money that I spend to be used to oppress people for the ideas that they have. I don't want to engage in a commercial system that enriches psychopaths and hurts ordinary people.

Long ago the ruling families were bound by family ties, today our political entities are bound by commercial ties. Money binds your "representatives" to histories greatest monsters. Money enables "democracy" to occur without informed debate or fair choice. Money makes law. I am not against wealth, in fact I view it as something virtuous, so long as it is paired with moral purpose.

I am not a radical for wanting to ensure that we live in a world with human rights, democracy, an educated and informed citizenry. This is not the world we are currently building.

The only radicals I see are the thugs in the 1% who want to maintain their power through any means necessary. And it is through this they lose what it is that they seek to gain.

What scares the elite is that Elizabeth May is the most powerful person in Ottawa.
The seeds have already been planted, and they will grow.

12 Reasons Why Globalization Is A Major Problem: Gail Tverberg

Globalization levels the playing field, in a way that makes it hard for developed countries to compete. A country with a lower cost structure (lower wages and benefits for workers, more inexpensive coal in its energy mix, and more lenient rules on pollution) is able to out-compete a typical OECD country. In the United States, the percentage of US citizen with jobs started dropping about the time China joined the World Trade Organization in 2001. - See more at: http://www.economywatch.com/economy-business-and-finance-news/12-reasons-why-globalisation-is-a-major-problem-gail-tverberg.26-02.html#sthash.kewzAwZz.V7JoIdKS.dpuf

" The main goal is to desensitize the American people to Communist China's growing military power, outright aggression against its neighbors, and the continuing brutal oppression of its own people. "

" These are also developments which China's smiling Communist elite do not want Americans to think about. We are to think of the Peoples Republic in terms of valuable business partners and graceful practitioners of Tai Chi. "

Obama Officials Refuse to Say if Assassination Power Extends to US Soil

" Since then, the administration – including the president himself and his nominee to lead the CIA, John Brennan – has been repeatedly asked whether this authority extends to US soil, i.e., whether the president has the right to execute US citizens on US soil without charges. In each instance, they have refused to answer. "

The Missing Recovery

" Foreign hires are not additions to the work force, but replacements. The corporations force their American employees to train the foreigners, and then the American employees are discharged. Obviously, if skilled employees were in short supply, they would not be laid off. Moreover, if the skills were in short supply, salaries would be bid up, not down, and the 36% of those who graduated in 2011 with a doctorate degree in engineering would not have been left unemployed. The National Science Foundation’s report, “Doctorate Recipients From U.S. Universities,” says that only 64% of the Ph.D. engineering graduates found a pay check. "

" By focusing on the bottom line at all costs, corporations are destroying the US consumer market. Offshoring jobs reduces labor costs and raises profits, but it also reduces domestic consumer income, thus reducing the domestic market for the corporation’s products. For awhile the reduction in consumer income can be filled by the expansion of consumer debt, but when consumers reach their debt limit sales cannot continue to rise. The consequence of jobs offshoring is the ruination of the domestic consumer market. "

" To sum up, the corporations’ focus on the bottom line has disconnected US incomes from the production of the goods and services that the American people consume, thus weakening and ultimately destroying the domestic consumer market. The Fed’s focus on saving banks, which mindless deregulation allowed to become “too big to fail,” has created a bond market bubble of negative real interest rates and a dollar bubble in which the dollar’s exchange rate has not declined in keeping with the large increase in its supply. Both the corporations and the Fed have created a stock market bubble based on profits obtained from labor arbitrage (the substitution of cheaper foreign labor for US labor) and from banks speculating with the money that the Fed is providing to them.

This situation is untenable. Sooner or later something will pop these bubbles, and the consequences will be horrendous. "

Growth, Debt and Trade

" The current economic model assumes that perpetual growth is possible on our fragile and finite planet. This economic model is dependent on consumption and the waste that accompanies consumption means that most of what we buy is cheap and ends up in our waste streams within six month of purchase. The economy is financed by debt and debt levels are unsustainable and growing. Virtually all levels of government, individuals and families carry too much debt compared to their income.

The globalized economy was made possible by cheap fossil fuels and globalized trade. Fossil fuels are no longer cheap and most countries’ economies are contracting.

BC Greens will work with British Columbians to plan for and transition to an economy based in place and community where trade is local and based in durable goods and services. "

Buchanan: World turns to Nationalism

" How does the Chinese Communist Party justify control of all of China’s institutions today — economic, political, military and cultural?

If Marxism is mocked behind closed doors by a new economic elite and tens of millions of Chinese young, what can cause the nation to continue to respect and obey a Communist Party and its leaders, besides the gun?

The answer of Europe in the 1930s is China’s answer today.

Nationalism, tribalism, patriotic war if necessary, will bring the masses back. If the Chinese nation is being insulted, if ancestral lands are occupied by foreigners as in olden times, the people will rally around a regime that stands up for China. Nationalism will keep Chinese society “under control while you go forward.” "

Tensions rapidly escalating around South China Sea

" China’s assertion that almost all of the South China Sea and adjacent waters are part of its territory seems to be growing more dangerous with each passing week. "

Revanchist China

" Having dominated East and Southeast Asia for all but the last two centuries of the past two millennia, China is chafing at the current US-led regional order of sovereign states, in which even the smallest enjoys the same rights, privileges, and protection as the largest. Modern China has benefited enormously from this arrangement; nonetheless, there is keen resentment that the Chinese civilization-state’s vast achievements over several thousand years offer China no special status.

To a people imbued with a deep sense of superior moral worth, historical achievement, and victimization by foreign powers, this state of affairs is unjust and unnatural. It follows that pulling back from any territorial dispute with smaller and inferior states would be seen as a humiliating defeat, rather than a step toward ensuring long-term regional stability. "

China tests Japanese and US patience

" According to Abe, relations between China and Japan have been suffering due to unintended consequences of moves by the Communist Party of China to retain its legitimacy. China’s economic opening led to unequal prosperity, eliminating the Party’s main pillar of support, equality. To counter that, the Chinese government pursued a two-prong strategy of economic growth and patriotism. Economic growth required Beijing to expand its sourcing of commodities, moving China naturally onto the sea. Meanwhile, patriotism, tinged with anti-Japanese teaching, has come to pervade the educational system and society.

Abe argued that China is pursuing a path of coercion or intimidation, particularly in the East and South China seas, as part of its resource-acquisition strategy. Anti-Japanese undercurrents in Chinese society due to the inculcation of patriotism have won domestic support for the assertive Chinese actions. "

Cyber-hacking War Finally gets Major Coverage

Cyber-hacking threat

MPs on Chinese hacking

Notice how the Conservatives try to avoid saying anything about China when questioned. Harper was on TV the other day saying that the best way to open up closed societies was to engage them in commerce. The opposite is what is happening, the dictatorships are getting stronger and influencing our democracies with all the money we outsourced to them. This has only made the enemy stronger, and provided the communist tyrants legitimacy.

Harper lets communist China have free rein over Canadian telecommunications

The Canadian Government’s 40 Hour Cyber Security Work Week

" …Government and private-sector systems are attacked by hackers, organized crime and state actors [China anyone? this government won’t say] on a “constant basis,” said [public safety minister] Toews…

Now I guess they think those types don’t work during Ottawa’s night:

…the [Canadian Cyber Incident Response] centre [within Public Safety Canada] was still not operating on a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week basis, as originally intended, shutting down weekdays at 4 p.m. Ottawa time and closing for the weekend. The government plans to extend those hours to 9 p.m., seven days a week, but not round-the-clock… "

Chinese firm's Canadian contracts raise security fears

" Even Canada's own intelligence agencies have warned the Harper government of the risks of throwing open the door to Chinese telecom companies.

Despite all the warnings, the federal and Ontario governments have rolled out the red carpet to Huawei, officially praising the Chinese company's partnerships in Canadian telecom projects with Telus, Bell, SaskTel and WIND Mobile.

During a recent visit to China, for instance, Prime Minister Stephen Harper said he was "honoured" to have witnessed the signing of large contracts for Huawei to provide Telus and Bell with the latest LTE high-speed wireless networks across Canada. "

Canada must ramp up cyber security in wake of alleged China-led attacks, experts say

" “The Canadian government has been somewhat remiss in its approach to the problem” of cyber security, said Queen’s University professor and internet security expert David Skillicorn. "

HD misled saying it needed Chinese specialists for 'long wall' mining

" The company said it intended to use the so-called long-wall technique to harvest coal from its Murray River mine and insisted the Chinese workers were needed for their specialties in the use of it. "

"But according to documents obtained by the union, HD Mining's application to the B.C. Ministry of Natural Resource Operations in June 2011 shows during a two-year bulk sample collection period the company had no plan to employ the long-wall technique. "

Pipeline industry pushed changes to Navigable Waters Protection Act: documents

" Documents obtained through the Access to Information Act show it came, in part, from the pipeline industry.

The Canadian Energy Pipeline Association met with senior government officials in the fall of 2011, urging them not just to streamline environmental assessments, but also to bring in "new regulations under (the) Navigable Waters Protection Act," a CEPA slide presentation shows. "

" The complaint arises from a sweeping Conservative communications policy under which federal scientists must get permission before speaking publicly — permission that is often denied, delayed or limited to approved talking points. "

The Making of a Natural Gas Glut

" In recent years Wall Street banks helped a wave of foreign energy companies including Chinese, Norwegian and Japanese firms buy up shale oil and gas leases across North America, even though too few wells had been drilled to assess their longevity and quality.

"Shale gas accounted for $46.5 billion in deals in the U.S. alone in 2011," explains Rogers. "The mergers and acquisitions market for shale assets exploded in the prior two years directly in sync with the downward descent of natural gas prices. In much the same way as mortgage backed securities bolstered the banks' profits before the downturn, energy M&A had now become the new profit centre within these banks." "

Andrew Nikiforuk: The Big Shift

" He also warns that all citizens should prepare for "high and likely volatile oil prices," and that governments should be "educating their citizenry of the risk of contraction to minimize potential future social discord." "

If we are concerned about the availability of energy, why is the government in such a rush to ship the oil to foreign dictators.

"And it would be easy for the recipient of that money to hide it from public view," Smith said. "I think that's pretty stunning." "

Harper's cabinet mulls massive Chinese resource project in Arctic

Harper's cabinet mulls massive Chinese resource project in Arctic

"Another massive Chinese-owned resource project is before Prime Minister Stephen Harper's cabinet.

It would be hard to exaggerate the proposal's scope. Centred at Izok Lake, about 260 kilometres southeast of Kugluktuk, the project would stretch throughout a vast swath of western Nunavut.

Izok Lake would have five separate underground and open-pit mines producing lead, zinc and copper. Another site at High Lake, 300 kilometres to the northeast, would have another three mines.

MMG also wants a processing plant that could handle 6,000 tonnes of ore a day, tank farms for 35 million litres of diesel, two permanent camps totalling 1,000 beds, airstrips and a 350-kilometre all-weather road with 70 bridges that would stretch from Izok Lake to Grays Bay on the central Arctic coast.

MMG plans a port there that could accommodate ships of up to 50,000 tonnes

Izok Lake would be drained, the water dammed and diverted to a nearby lake. Three smaller lakes at High Lake would also be drained. Grays Bay would be substantially filled in.

The result would be a project producing 180,000 tonnes of zinc and another 50,000 tonnes of copper a year."

HD mining says won't replace all of its Chinese workers until 2026 (If ever)

"HD Mining, the Vancouver-based miner that in early October sparked controversy and legal actions with its plan to bring in up to 2,000 Chinese miners for its proposed $300 million coal mine, won't replace all of its foreign workers by Canadians at least until 2026.

The information came to light in court last Friday, after an attempt by two unions to stop more temporary Chinese workers from coming to Canada was dismissed by a Federal judge, reported The Journal of Commerce.

Documents tendered in the case showed that HD Mining's transition plan to replace temporary foreign workers with locals at its northern British Columbia coal project would take 14 years. They also revealed the company won't start hiring Canadian miners for more than four years."

I guess it all depends on your definition of "temporary".

Union suggests B.C. coal mines controlled by Chinese gov't

"VICTORIA -- The United Steelworkers says it has dug up what it calls close ties between the Chinese government and the reportedly privately-run coal mine in northeastern British Columbia embroiled in a foreign-worker controversy.

The union released a report Wednesday that suggests HD Mining International Ltd. -- the firm developing the proposed Murray River mine near Tumbler Ridge -- has ownership links to the government in China, where workers receive low wages in unsafe conditions.

A union report titled "Who Owns Huiyong Holdings and other Questions on Planned Chinese-Owned Coal Mines in B.C. " examines the ownership of Huiyong Holdings Group, which owns Huiyong Holdings (BC) Ltd., and holds 55 per cent of HD Mining.

The union' allege HD Mining wants to bring the workers to Canada and pay them lower wages than what Canadian miners earn for comparable work, depressing the labour market and causing irreparable harm."

HD Mining refuses to show B.C. unions the files on work permits for Chinese miners

" VANCOUVER—The mining company that is bringing in hundreds of miners from China to work on a northern B.C. coal operation is refusing to release its files on the temporary work permits it obtained from the federal government.

On Dec. 7, a federal court judge ordered HD Mining and the federal Human and Resources and Skills Development ministry to provide two B.C. unions with documentation on how the permits were requested and approved.

But HD Mining now says it has no “legal obligation” to open its files.

“We do not understand why the unions are continuing to press this litigation,” HD Mining chair Penggui Yan said in a statement. “HD Mining believes that all parties need to move beyond this litigation and work toward the constructive development of this project.” "

So a hostile foreign regime now controls our resources, is bringing in "temporary" workers to fill the jobs, and apparently has no "legal obligation" to abide by the decisions handed down by Canadian Courts.

Water drives First Nations angst on the streets and on the reserve

"Mining companies have flooded into the James Bay lowlands, into the area now dubbed the Ring of Fire. They've found an enormous expanse of chromite, enough nickel for a mine, and other metals that may hold potential in future years.

It's no surprise that water is constantly on his mind. It's also on the mind of the First Nations protesters who have taken to the streets in cities across Canada and blocked roads over the last few days in the Idle No More effort.

"The protection of water is a sacred obligation to indigenous people. Without clean water, life will cease to exist. Our obligation to protect water is an overall respect for life itself," said Chief Isadore Day of the Serpent River First Nation, near Elliot Lake, in an email as he wrapped up a weekend protest that briefly shut down the Trans-Canada Highway.

Protection of water is a large part of what has driven his people into the streets, Day said. Ottawa's latest omnibus bill changes the Navigable Waters Act to remove federal oversight from all but a few of Canada's lakes and rivers — without consulting the people whose health and livelihoods depend on them.

"This is why our people are opposed to the omnibus bill; it blatantly disregards water," Day said."

The Communists have put a great priority on manipulating Canada's political system, Canada is the largest holder of freshwater reserves in the world, thanks in part to responsible environmental protection. Canada is now a target. Always be prepared. The first order of business in every colonization is to corrupt the political elite, for they are the most out of touch, and they perceive their fate to be unconnected to the well being of their people. First they come for the gold, then the copper and the timber, then the land itself, and finally when all humanity is destroyed, the last drop of water.

Now we stand on guard for all humanity against the tides of darkness, we stand on guard for thee.

China passes rules tightening internet controls

"China's government tightened controls on internet users today by enacting rules requiring them to register their names, a move made after online postings about graft and abuses rattled the ruling party.

The measure would require network service providers to ask users to provide their real names and other identifying information to allow users to post information publicly or when signing agreements for access to the Internet, fixed telephone lines or mobile phones, Xinhua said.

Beijing promotes internet use for business and education, but bans material deemed subversive or obscene and blocks access to many websites."

"When a Chinese military surveillance plane overflew the islands two weeks ago, Japan scrambled fighter jets in response. The next day, an editorial in Global Times, a mainland newspaper tied to the Chinese Communist Party, said the overflight “marks the beginning of China’s air surveillance” of the islands.

So China is already telling us that it will continue its aggressive ways even if this results in a military conflict with Japan. It’s not too hard to figure out that a China-Japan military conflict will soon involve the US.

In the last year, we have already seen China’s aggressive behavior on display with the Philippines, and the Philippines also has a defensive treaty with the US. Apparently, China didn’t seem to care about the treaty.

The Chinese have also elevated the level of tension for all ships entering the South China Sea starting in 2013:

China’s plan to board and search ships that illegally enter what it considers its territory in the disputed South China Sea could spark naval clashes and hurt the region’s economy, Southeast Asia’s top diplomat warned on Friday."

Three possible scenarios in South China Sea

"1. There is no hedemonic power that is willing to create a stable order. The US is in decline. US leadership is sleeping.
2. There is no avoidance of overly aggressive behavior by China.
3. China appears to want only bilateral talks with individual countries. This is a divide and conquer strategy. No regional solution appears in the horizon.
4. China has already used economic strategies to punish Japan and Philippines.
5. Institutions for dialog exist, but they are not being used effectively.
6. The concept of win-win does not appear in the Chinese language. I’m not making this up."

In 2013, the great unraveling of the global economy (Failure of Globalism)

"The disparate prospects of each continent have little in common. To the extent that they can be linked by a single theme in 2013, however, it is the idea of the unraveling of the global economy and the political integration that supported it. After two decades of globalization, this year will see each of the big political theaters re-erecting barriers and focusing more on domestic repairs than on global expansion. The unraveling has its roots in longer-term trends, but it is set to step up in the next year."

Petitioners Ask Former Security Czar to Explain His Vast Budget

"Zhou headed the Political and Legislative Affairs Committee (PLAC) for five years, but was replaced after the recent 18th Party Congress. Under his leadership, the state organ’s stability maintenance expenditure has been rising every year, and is mainly used to oppress petitioners and dissidents, as well persecute Falun Gong, a spiritual practice based on the principles of truth, compassion, and tolerance. In 2012, the expenditure rose by 11.5 percent, even surpassing China’s military expenditure"

China academics warn of "violent revolution" if no political reform

"The letter said democracy, rule of law and respect of human rights were "a global trend that could not be stopped".

"China's 100 years of bloody and violent history - especially the painful and tragic lesson of the decade-long Cultural Revolution - show that once we go against the tide of democracy, human rights, rule of law and constitutional government, the people will suffer disaster and social and political stability will be impossible," the letter said."

Be careful, this could be a decoy to project weakness when in fact the regime is strong. Art of War.

Chinese Men Jailed for Calling On Hu Jintao to Disclose Assets

"Contrary to new Communist Party leader Xi Jinping’s anti-corruption campaign talk, several people have been sentenced to prison and re-education through labor after they called on officials to disclose their personal assets earlier this year. "

Some Tariffs finally raised to protect against China’s Photovoltaic Manufacturers

"According to statistics of EU ProSun, in 2011, China reached a total PV production capacity of 45 GW but domestic consumption was only 2 GW. The production capacity spurred by massive subsidies and state incentives was over 20 times higher than actual demand for solar powered electricity. The only way out was exporting the surplus production.

“More than 90 percent of PV products made in China were exported to foreign countries,” Xie Chen, an analyst at the Silicon Branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, said to Securities Daily, a Chinese business daily. “About 60 percent are exported to Europe and 30 percent are exported to the United States and other countries.”

European company SolarWorld said China’s massive production overcapacity and government-funded export drive have left the world industry in ruins. In the U.S. market alone, at least 22 solar producers have closed plants or laid off significant numbers of workers. Chinese producers also have experienced losses in the billions of dollars, but those companies survive as a result of Chinese government bailouts, SolarWorld added.

EU ProSun said, in 2012 alone Chinese dumping of solar cells forced over 30 European companies to close shop, lay off workers or be taken over by foreign investors. Thousands of jobs were lost, many factories closed and research and development (R&D) halted."

Red Dawn - Now Playing Censored Version

The movie that was delayed for two years is finally out, a relief for many even though the version released has been edited to remove all references to china.
Apparently your not allowed to portray china in a negative light anymore in Hollywood.

In a disturbing revelation it has been made public that the much anticipated film Red Dawn is being re-edited to remove all references to China and replace them with North Korea. The censorship is being imposed upon the makers of the film in order to satisfy business interests. The regime in China is bringing Western media further under its control.
This is a blow to all those who believe in personal freedom and human rights.

NWO - Red Dawn TRAILER (2012)

China Invades America. EMP weapon detonated, all electronics fried. These weapons do exist and America does not currently have the defenses to protect against them. There are measures we could put in place to protect ourselves but their is not the political will to put them in place. China ordered this film to be censored and the company producing the film complied. After the film had finished shooting they had to spend about a million dollars editing out all references to china replacing them with north korea. Hollywood producers are careful to not anger china as they all are afraid of loosing access to the chinese market. In a way, the biggest threat to us is not the enemy itself but our own weak leaders who outsource our jobs, reduce our nuclear weapons capacity, and basically sell us into slavery. The West is turning into china, loosing Freedom

This neatly compiled collection of newscasts puts together the case that something has gone very wrong at the highest levels of our society. The fact that the powerful are so paranoid that they are willing to expend huge amounts of our scarce resources on chinese style surveillance of people who are just expressing ideas shows the degree of separation between the people who make the decisions and the people who have to live under those decisions. Society seems terminally ill. After watching this one I think you will find it undeniable that 1) there is a problem 2) we need real reform.
Out of all the people who hold political power, or at least the facade of political power, there is not one person or persons that are pushing back against the police state agenda. To date, no lone executive has broken ranks with the globalists and issued orders to the political puppets to try and save the day. Is there not one among you, you men of power and privilege, who loves lady liberty more than your false trophys of excess.

I will not shut up. I know fully well the implications of speaking my mind. You can do what you will but I love liberty more than life itself. You do not have my obedience, and that is all it takes for you to lose your power. I am not afraid.

I will not live in fear, and neither will you.

End of Democracy

What has our society come to, the only major media to cover such dramatic restructuring of the political/ economic system is Russia Today. Democracy is being murdered by the TPP while our major networks broadcast real housewives and the Tom and Kate divorce. Bread and circuses. And now all we have is the Russians. I don't trust Putin, he's an authoritarian thug, but I have to give RT credit for being one of the only real sources of investigative broadcast journalism left on the North American Continent. These are dark days, and we all know things will get a lot darker.

Canada Decends into new Dark Age

"There is no civil rights in this area"

Opposition lawmaker is being taken to court for doing his job and revealing to the public Racknine Inc. and its involvement in the election scandal.

The government enacted a secret agreement to hand information it has gained from spying on Canadians to foreign intelligence agencies. This on the heels of a recent major trade agreement with china.

Canada Suspends Civil Liberties

"The thought police would get him just the same. He had committed--would have committed, even if he had never set pen to paper--the essential crime that contained all others in itself. Thoughtcrime, they called it. Thoughtcrime was not a thing that could be concealed forever. You might dodge successfully for a while, even for years, but sooner or later they were bound to get you." - George Orwell, 1984, Book 1, Chapter 1

Conservatives Declare War on Canada

People have been asking why the government has been using your hard earned tax dollars to build massive new prison complexes when the crime rate has been dropping for decades.
After the China deal, and the new police state measures, I think its becoming clear.

This is big. Powerful lobbyists, working with their allies in government, have put forward what amounts to an unavoidable choke point for your Internet use: two bills aimed at Internet users, and a government decision about the future of Internet access.

If we don’t stop this set-up, you’ll have to deal with bigger bills, widespread warrantless surveillance, and restricted choice.

By signing an OpenMedia.ca petition, you helped push back against new Internet restrictions and Big Telecom price-gouging.

These three imminent threats will create an Internet choke point for Canadians, and they’re unfolding right now:

  1. Online Spying: The government has tabled their invasive spying plan (Bill C-30) to mandate that every Internet provider must hand "authorities" access to the private information of any Canadian, at any time, without a warrant. Despite appearances the contrary, they are still pushing this through parliament.

  2. The Internet Lockdown: Through Bill C-11, Big Media lobbyists are seeking the power to compel telecom providers (who will now have surveillance capabilities) to cut Internet access for no good reason, remove or hide vast swaths of the Internet, and lock users out of their own services.

  3. The Cell Phone Squeeze: Big Telecom giants are lobbying the government to turn over control of mobile communications—which experts say are the future of Internet access—to just three giant companies. This will lead to rising prices, even worse customer service, and more easily controlled surveillance.

20 Reasons Why All Americans Should Be Against The Insane Trade Policies Of The Globalists

The end of Time

I have been looking through the records of before. The world is losing intellectual capitol. The old knowledge may someday be forgotten, but not eliminated. The battle may be for space but the war is for time. The time is drawing near, and I have decided to share some of my heart here in the hopes that the value that may be drawn justifies the risks of speaking out.

What is prosperity?

If the balance of power is held by is held by a totalitarian, systematic human rights abuser, democracy is undermined. Trade is being used as a weapon. It is destroying the industrial capacity of the West and creating legions of internally displaced former members of the middle class. It is being used to coerce governments around the world to bend to the will of the Communist elite in Beijing. Take for example the recent decision of South Africa's ANC government to deny the Dali Lama entry to the country to attend the birthday of Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The ANC once stood for ending apartheid when Nelson Mandela was at the helm. Now in a 180 degree turn it takes orders from the apartheid regime in Beijing. Human Rights have taken a backseat to trade for more than 20 years, it has not led to greater prosperity. Our current trajectory is not only economically unsustainable, but more importantly it is morally reprehensible.

As the world comes crashing down around us I think its time we did some soul searching and asked ourselves some hard questions. What is prosperity? Is it gadgets that track our every move and record our every conversation? Is is computers that log every article we read, and read our every thought? Is it the conversion of our our lives into fiat wealth of of binary digits? Is time money or as the philosophers of old whisper is money time? Is prosperity the destruction of the ideals that our civilization has held dear for two thousand years? Does prosperity mean forgetting the sacrifices made by millions of our forefathers in the great wars, that we may embrace the very thing they died trying to stop.

What kind of world do we want to leave behind? What if we could create an international system of trade based on human rights. What if business decisions were based on what is ethical, not what makes the most binary digits the fastest. What do we value? We need to look at the big picture now. We need to take into account the costs we choose to ignore. Change will come whether we like it or not. The future is a choice, and now is a time to choose.

The development of advanced means of surveillance, and therefore advanced means of control, is being coupled with the rise of a global totalitarian empire. Our language is being simplified, our young are not taught the ways of the old philosophers. Cultural decay, moral disintegration. Our growing dissident community lives in fear of what may befall them as the sun sets in the West.

It was foretold that without vision people parish. We need to lead with integrity. We need to protect the capacity of our nation to produce and the ability of our citizens to provide for themselves. We need to replace the WTO with a trading architecture that values human life. We need to stand up to the communist party in Beijing no matter how much they threaten to cut trade ties. The West is bleeding jobs and capital, we need to stop the bleeding. We should end all trade ties with those responsible for genocide. This is the way to have a future worth living. To live with compassion, love, and sacrifice. Every movement's objectives are labeled impossible, until its objectives are carved into history. I beg you now, turn the tide before its too late. We have the power.

How has it come to this?

How has it come to this. This corruption that permeates our every bit of being. The blood thats stains our collective consciousness and soaks every hand save none. How has it come to this. This machine that runs on moral compromise and misery. How is it that my hand steers it, just as every other hand that came before me.

We have created a global economy that appeases the most pervasive invasions of personal and collective decency. Liberty is laid bare upon the alter of progress awaiting the death blow. To the few who see it coming, it seems an inevitability. Whispers among the future dissident community speak of living in the last days. How much longer. The seed of hope has the potential to grow into something wonderful.

Tomorrow is the day that big brother has its hands on every nation. Upon the throat of every human voice, upon every breath. Today is the day that we do something about it, for tomorrow my friend, it will be to late. Open our eyes to the evidence around us and we will see a sickness our eyes perceive as normal. It is a sickness that has not yet reached its terminal stage. Tomorrow's terminal stage will become the new normal, just as today's.

Our economy is made in China. Each stitch carefully woven into the fabric of our soul. Every error, every tear in time loses more than nine. Factory cities build in the blink of an eye not to satisfy demand, but to force its hand. Demand, the hand that chokes the human spirit. Not indigenous to the tabula rasa, an acquired disease, a symptom of the sickness. Workers paid a dime for their time plus interest. Interest in the enumerable distractions that dull the mind and leave us feeling numb. Feeling nothing. When we don't feel we don't live. We don't take the time to make time, we always have something that demands our attention. We don't feel it is important to passionately caress every moment of the poetry that is our lives.

Our art is prewritten, forged for consumption, marketed as entertainment. Time is something to kill, what better way to kill our time than with some entertainment. No need to write ourselves, our world is written for us. Passified by the weapons of psychological war. Alcohol, our drug of choice to fill a void we can not explain. Sex, without a shred of love, to satisfy the demand of broken dreams. Demand that drives the factory cities, that pay the workers a dime plus interest, that create the goods that no one needs or wants, but demands. Goods that are loaded onto container ships and brought across the seas thousands of kilometres. Unloaded onto trucks and carried thousands more. Goods we buy, because after all they are good. It was prewritten in our entertainment.

And what of those who write themselves. The ones who choose to write their own destiny. Once more our final solution to them is made in China. We are networked now. We are all connected, not to each other but to the hand that deals the death blow. The hand upon the throat. Upon the airways and arteries that power the mind and feed the heart. The heart that doesn't have time to feel. The heart that does't love. The land that built the great wall, yet builds another. Walls provide the cover of darkness, within witch the machinery of the state can efficiently crush the human spirit, break the human body and sell the remaining organs to satisfy the horrors of demand. Blood turns the wheels of our existence. Blood fuels the machine that holds its hand upon our throat. Blood on our hands.

How has it come to this. Whispers among the dissidents that these are our last days. That tomorrow turns terminal. That the sickness has turned us blind, lying meek upon the alter. Awaiting the death blow. And yet in the story the prophets tell, that the meek and the humble shall inherit the earth, remains the seed of hope. The winter is coming. Beyond that, the spring. Hope is like a seed. It has the potential to grow into something wonderful. Let love nourish hope. Let hope inspire love. Let fate, all these things, bring.

Where do we stand now?

Where do we stand now? For decades our leaders have mismanaged the international system. Our jobs have been exported overseas and everything we buy is imported. North American Industrial capacity has been in decline since before my generation, and with it the decline of democracy. Democracy is an experiment whose survival is not guaranteed. Every year we become less free and less prosperous.

We the people are under economic attack by foreign tyrants. Our leaders are at best complacent and at worst collaborators. A totalitarian china rises in the east and threatens to turn back the tide of human progress. Our culture is being diluted with mindless materialism. We are being watched everywhere at all times. Compassion has given way to contempt. Depression, war, we are in a pre-collapse state. At least we have the internet reformation. Although the free flow of information is not forever guaranteed.

Political change is necessary. We must establish a system of international trade based on human rights and civil liberties. We should not trade with states that violate their citizens human rights. Our governments should raise tariffs and allow our domestic industries a chance to function. We should stop outsourcing to our enemy and bring the jobs home. The American trade deficit is unsustainable and must be brought into balance. America is the defender of democracy and must be preserved lest tyranny and injustice engulf the world.

We must preserve our democracy at home and prevent foreign dictatorships from overpowering what we have fought so hard to establish, our individual sovereignty. From Athens to the Magna Carta, the English civil war to the American civil war, the Constitution to the Bill of Rights. Throughout the ages we have fought to establish and preserve a basic standard of human decency. The philosophers of the enlightenment period paved the way that we may live in a society where we are free to think and say and do as we like. Where we have a say in the decisions that affect our lives. This must be preserved.

If the communist party of china is to gain power over the world the human species will experience a de-evolution back to a more violent barbarism the likes of which we have not seen in generations. We are the guardians of the future. Now is the time to resist.
